Dear Parents,
Parents, as you make those long range plans, please do not schedule appointments for April 15th - April 18th. The annual standardized testing for grades 6-9 with CTP5 will take place during the mornings of April 15-17 with Thursday, the 18th being used for makeups.
Technology News:
Parents, I wanted to remind you that your students have access to a wonderful suite of products from TextHelp. The school is providing this service to you free of charge. Many universities are beginning to provide this service as well and we feel it is important that students become comfortable with these tools. For students who may struggle in some areas, these tools can level the playing field.
The most popular tool in the suite is Read & Write. I am including a little information to help you become familiar with this tool.
Users should log in to the Chrome browser using their school account information.
The read&write app is a small purple puzzle piece which will appear in the toolbar.
The first time you use the extension you will need to review and accept all Google permissions associated with the tool.
Users can begin using the tool by clicking on the purple puzzle piece in the toolbar.
