Mel Tari in Brazil
Mel Tari is a true father in the faith, with many spiritual children whom we know and respect, such as Rolland and Heidi Baker, Randy Clark...
Mel Tari is a revivalist and evangelist from East Timor where the Indonesian revival happened in the 60s. Mel has been part of many miracles, signs and wonders that God has done during his 47 years of serving the Lord, such as turning water into wine every Sunday for 5 years, walking on water, healing, resurrection of the dead. Mel travels round the world sharing the Father's heart and passion for the lost, telling the wonders of Jesus and preaching the simplicity and power of the Word.
Mel was just with us last week where he spoke at an annual conference Brado dos Leões here in Brasilia - Roar of the Lions - where leaders from different ministries, churches and denominations gathered for a time of impartation, teaching, intercession, repentance, and strategising for the purposes of God for Brazil and her destiny to be fulfilled.
Mel Tari's book "Like A Mighty Wind" in portuguese
This book has already touched and impacted many people since its launch. We have heard testimonies from leaders, pastors, and youth on how the book has encouraged, and ignited the fire in their hearts for more of God! Even our publisher was impacted, he said he could not put the book down!
Mel's trip to Brasil is going to be the start of many here, we are excited to see and be part of what God is going to do in this nation and the world through his life! 47 years of walking with the Lord, and counting!

Philippines
Barangay 71, Naga-Naga, Tacloban City, Leyte
There is no access to clean water, and sanitation is inadequate. Often, there is no electricity. These families live below the poverty level of the Philippines ie, they have less than US$400 a year.
They struggle every day to get food and work. Many of the children do not go to school or have to drop out to beg for food on the street.
Feeding and Multiplication!
Here is a report from our friends:
"God is so amazing, because at first we planned to feed only 100 children, 1 kid per family. But when we did a survey of the families, most of them had at least 5 children per family. There is even one family with 12 kids. We felt compassion on the other kids and we decided to invite 2 kids per family.
So by faith, we decided to feed 2 kids per family. It was so amazing that the Lord multiplied the food we prepared. Everyone was satisfied and happy!
The minister to a total of 98 families in Naga-Naga. These are families living below the poverty level. We saw the joy in the kids and parents too, with the feeding we conducted. Even the parents long to eat. On behalf of the Good News Community Family, we would like to say Thank You for being a Channel of Blessings to these Children.
God bless you po!!! We always believe that Love (Jesus) Changes Nations! "

Investing in Education
Have you wondered how your life would be without access to technology? So many of us take it for granted, but most mozambicans do not know how to use a computer, let alone, have access to computers, word processing software, or the internet.
We want to help educate the leaders of tomorrow, and position them to better contribute to the development of their nation.
Providing access to computers and information technology, teaching students computer skills, are some of the ways we could do that.
We want to set up the computer lab/suite for the university, and this involves the following:
1) 3 container classrooms: each one costs US$2,500.
2) At least 10 computers, and furniture for the classrooms.
3) Train teachers in the use of the computer facilities and equipment.
4) Provide the technological and financial support to upkeep equipment and internet connectivity. This will be an on-going expense.
