Non-certified vacancies will be posted separately and within the next several weeks. This list of certified vacancies will be updated regularly, if new vacancies emerge.
Some things you should take into consideration if you are seeking a transfer:
1. You will only be considered for a transfer for the amount of time a job remains listed on our form, usually just over a week.
2. You need to inform your current principal that you are considering a transfer.
3. You will only be considered for transfer two times for a given school year.

Women's History Month and Ramadan Resources
1. Celebrating Women's Month: "If we give everyone the exact same thing, expecting that will make people equal, it assumes that everyone started out in the same place – and this can be vastly inaccurate because everyone isn't the same." (Internal Women's Day Website). Below are some additional resources for your to end this month long celebration with.
- A search for “United States IWD” will lead to a list of ongoing activities for March. Specifically, there are 4 virtual exhibits or interesting ways to participate.
- Here are some video discussion starters for topics around equity, not just equality for women.
- Information on the how, why and when of International Women’s day can be found at this website.
2. This year Ramadan starts on March 23 and it is a holy month of worship. Muslim students in our classrooms will be fasting from dawn to sunset (about 5:40 am-7:00 pm depending on the region they reside in); they cannot consume anything while they are fasting (water, medicine, food, etc.). See the resources below to find out more information.
- An open letter to educators about Ramadan
- A PBS article on how teachers can support students
Assemble Your Teams for the NJSD April Step Challenge
For the month of April, our wellness focus is physical activity. To celebrate the month, we are going to do a NJSD Step Challenge! The challenge will be run through Go365 and will go from April 1-30. Members can enroll in the challenge through Go365 from March 24-31. You must enroll during this period, as the challenge does not let you join late. During this time frame, look for the challenge that is titled "NJSD April Step Challenge."
Participants can create teams from 2-10 participants. The challenge is open to staff, spouses, and adult dependents. If you are not a Go365 member, we encourage you to get a team of other non-members together to participate with, though only members' points will be added to the challenge totals. Good luck and let the fun begin!
Go365 Engagement Opportunity Recording
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our partners at Go365 for providing our staff with an educational zoom opportunity regarding ways to engage with their Go365 account! If you missed the live meeting, click here to watch the recording at your convenience. Additionally, check out the attached member guide that includes links to the Go365 informational flyers.
Student Google Account Maintenance
The IT Department will be performing some maintenance tasks on all student accounts during spring break. These maintenance tasks are related to improvements in automation and security. Due to this maintenance we expect that students will need to sign back into their devices using either their District email and password or their ClassLink QuickCard when they come back from break.

Next EFN Grant Request Deadline is April 7
The Educational Foundation of the Neenah Joint School District (EFN) provides a wonderful opportunity for NJSD staff members to receive funding for new and innovative teaching practices and programs, programs designed to address the developmental, emotional and social needs of students, and other school related programs and clubs. EFN has funded small requests of as little as $200-330 and large requests of as much as several thousand dollars.
If you do submit a grant application, please provide a detailed description of your project (the more we know the better we can evaluate your request) and any documentation you have to verify or estimate the cost of your project. Upon receipt of a grant application, EFN will contact you to arrange for your appearance at our next scheduled board meeting so you can appear via zoom meeting to answer any questions the EFN board may have about your grant request and to present any relevant information not contained in the grant application.
The next grant request deadline is Friday, April 7. Click here for more information and to submit a grant request.
