The Trail of Tears
The Trail of Tears was completed by a series of events. Many Cherokee families had to move out and leave their land behind. William McIntosh sold the rest of their land to the British. As many people made their way out of the land, many died and others cried all day and all night. The trail of Native Americans , who were kicked out of their home. There was a long trail of Native Americans that cried and died because of the land being sold to the british.Many people lost their homes and mostly importantly many of these people lost their lives during the Trail of Tears.
Sequoyah
Although Sequoyah was exposed to the concept of writing early in his life, he never learned the English language. He began to toy with the idea of literacy for the Cherokee people. Unlike the white soldiers, he and the other Cherokees were not able to write letters home or record events as they occurred. After the war, he began to create a writing system for the Cherokees.
McIntosh
The Leader of the cherokee. He sold te land to the british making the cherokee leave their home. He is a bad person. He died by his people because he was shot to death in a burning house.He made many cherokee people suffer when he sold their land to the british. He is a bad person.
Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the United States. He was the dominant actor in politics between Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. During his two-term presidency, he expanded executive powers and transformed the President's role from chief administrator to popular tribune. He was also the one that signed the Indian Removal Act.
