Students will start working on Exact Path, a program that is designed to help students who may struggle in certain areas or give enrichment to students who might be ready for more. Below is a link you can click on for resources.

PHYSICAL SCIENCE
This week in 8th grade science we will be wrapping up our unit on simple molecules and extended molecules. Our next unit is on states of matter, phases of matter and thermal energy.
Objectives for the unit:
* Develop a model that describes changes in particle motion, temperature and state of a pure substance when thermal energy is added or removed.
* Determine the relationship among the energy transferred, the type of matter, the mass, and the change in the temperature of the sample

Social Studies
Week at a Glance:
The students did a great job sharing out their projects and activities to teach the Bill of Rights. We will taking a test over Unit 8 on Friday/Monday. Then we will be moving on to our next unit on George Washington's presidency.
*Students in Mrs. Yates class will be testing on Wednesday.
