Halfway There!

This week leads us into winter break! It's hard to believe that the school year is almost halfway over!?! Force + motion will be completed and we will begin life science upon our return from the break.


By the way...THANK YOU SO MUCH to those of you that were able to help out with our holiday treat. We're so excited!

Essential Standards 7.P.2 + 7.L.1

  • Why is electricity considered a secondary energy source? Why is a complete loop of energy required to produce electricity? What energy transformations take place to in an electrical circuit?
  • How do skyscrapers overcome the force of gravity? What types of friction would they experience if they collapsed?
  • Analyze the various robot types for efficiency based on their composition of simple machines and other technology.
  • How can you determine if something is a living organism?
  • How are living organisms structured for homeostasis?
