3rd Grade - Week 16 12/13/15
NEXT WEEK
MATH: We will be starting to work on area. This will be linking to the repeated addition and multiplication we have been doing the past few weeks. We will then continue this when we return after the Christmas break.
READING: We will be moving on to traditional fairy tales. We will be looking at writing summaries, plot, problem/solution, and will be using some EOG type questions when reading these stories. Mclass will begin the first week back after Christmas.
** Homework - Please sign your child's agenda on a daily basis to show that your child has completed that night's homework. I expect homework to be turned in on time. Every Monday we write all the homework in our agenda so we know when it is due in. Also, please try and let your child do the homework by themselves, but then check it over with them. We go through homework every day so the children are aware of how they should answer the questions.
SPLASH CLASS CAROL SINGING

HOLIDAY PARTY
Thursday have a parent volunteer coming in to help us make some Christmas Crafts,
Friday we will be watching our movie. The children expressed that they would like to wear pj's and bring in blankets and stuffed animals. This is absolutely fine. I will be providing the popcorn! The film is a British Christmas film, so lots of British accents for our global Christmas!!!
