Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Panther Fitness Challenge!
Dear School Families:
What a fantastic day to get outside and celebrate our Panther Fitness Challenge - I am so happy that the weather held out for our reschedule! Our students had a great time, running and walking the course as well as learning new exercises and changing the world! The students had a blast, the support from our Home and School and volunteer parents was amazing and our teachers were leading the charge with enthusiasm!
I would like to offer a sincere thank you to our parents and sponsors for supporting our school fundraiser. I am thrilled to announce that in addition to having an awesome day, we were able to raise $16,388.22 from our Panther Fitness Challenge family donations, as well as an additional $3,750 in sponsorship dollars. Thank you to everyone for making this possible.
I would like to offer a special thank you to our Panther Fitness Challenge Committee Chairs: Holly Poss and Nikki Norton. Thank you to William Poss, Ruth Frey and Kristin Sedlacek for volunteering throughout the day and all of our parents who came out today to volunteer. Thank you to our Home and School Association for all they did to support this event, especially our co-Presidents Beth Kremer and Katie Lund. Finally, a special thank you to all of our families who donated to our Panther Fitness Challenge. We are so grateful to raise money for our school. All of the money raised through the Panther Fitness Challenge goes back to Prairie Point to purchase materials for our students and programs.
Thank you for all that you do to make Prairie Point a wonderful school community!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jennifer Groves

We have one change in our morning procedure that we would like to bring to your attention.
Morning drop off between 8:30-8:45am will be limited to students eating breakfast only. Breakfast students who arrive between 8:30 and 8:45am will need to be walked to Door #9 to enter the gym. Breakfast will continue to be offered from 8:45 - 9am for any students who arrive during this time.
Drop-off for all other students will begin at 8:45am. Students who ride the bus and walk will enter through Door #4. Students who are dropped off by car will proceed through the drop-off line and enter through Door #2 and Door #10. These doors are not a change from last year. Please note that the only supervision between 8:30-8:45am will be in the cafeteria for breakfast students. Please do not have your child arrive prior to 8:45am unless they are here for breakfast.

Lost and Found
Dear Parents,
The school lost and found is located right outsdie my art room. It is already starting to fill with lost items. I often go through the lost and found and look for names so that I can return anything possible . PLEASE WRITE YOUR CHILD'S NAME INSIDE THEIR LUNCH BOX as well as jackets and sweatshirts. This will hlep get heir lost things back to them more quickly.
