What's New in Mrs. Allen's Room?
May 9-13, 2016
My apologies for not sending out my newsletter during the weekend. I was enjoying Mother's Day all weekend long! :) I hope all moms had a lovely day with their families yesterday!
We are winding down the school year quite quickly now. Our only big event this week is Field Day. As of right now, the forecast is good for that day. However, if the weather takes a turn for the worse, and Field Day is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled. Keep your fingers crossed!!
Next Thursday, May 19th will be our Living Wax Museum. Remember, it is an optional activity. If your child does not wish to participate, he/she doesn't have to. The plan right now is to be outside on the playground basketball court (weather permitting). If we have to be inside, we will be set up in the cafeteria. Regardless of where we set up, visitors will be required to check in at the office first.
Have a wonderful week!!

It is not mandatory, but students can only participate if they have completed both parts of the book report assignment and turned them in ON TIME.
