We are glad you are here to use strategies for calming down.
Guidelines:
* Please make sure that a teacher, counselor, administrator, or someone in the front office knows you are here.
* This is a device-free zone. Please feel free to use the other resources available.
* Please be mindful of how much time you spend in this space.
Ideas for Calming Down:
* Take deep breathes.
* Use 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (instructions on red card)
* Color
* Use a stress ball
* Push the wall (it really works!)
* Name 6 colors you see in the room.
* Notice the furniture and touch the surface, noticing if it is hard, soft, rough, etc.
* Notice the temperature in the room.
* Make a list of things you are grateful for.
