College and Career Center
Battle Ground Public Schools' College and Career Centers publish local and noteworthy scholarships. For a few scholarships, we identify those students who meet the criteria and encourage them to apply.
- Most student aid comes in the form of federal education loans and grants from colleges. However, scholarships – which don’t have to be paid back – get a huge amount of attention from students and their families.
What is a scholarship?
- Scholarships are usually monetary awards given to students by an organization or donor to help pay for the students’ education. Students must meet the organization’s or donor’s criteria-such as pursuing a certain program of study, having financial need, or being an exemplary student.
Post-Secondary Fair - October 27
- All students will have the opportunity to attend the Post Secondary Fair hosted by the College and Career Center staff on October 27; 8:30 am - 11:00 am. Students can meet with representatives from Apprenticeship Programs, Technical & Trade Schools, Two and Four year colleges and military.
Financial Aid A - Z Zoom Presentation - October 27
- Representatives from WSU Vancouver will be presenting financial aid information on grants, loans, scholarships and how to access the money for your students. The presentation will be Thursday, October 27, 4 pm - 5 pm
