Hodgkins Family Newsletter

A Message from Mrs. Swieckowski
Hello Hodgkins Families,
October is here and the leaves and weather are beginning to change. Due to the changing temperatures, we ask that you dress your child in the appropriate outerwear (i.e. coats not hoodies). We will continue to take advantage of the beautiful weather for lunch, recess and PE classes for as long as possible. Please know that we have alternative plans for lunch and recess if and when the weather changes.
In the building our interventionists are beginning to pull or push into classrooms to deliver intervention services to identified students. Depending on the size of the groups, these students may be seen in a virtual format so to not cross cohorts. This is a new practice for us and we are checking and adjusting as needed. I will say that with the addition of our intervention groups, there is a real sense of normalcy in our daily schedule.
One more reminder-please help us with ensuring that your child brings his/her Chromebook to school EVERYDAY! The devices have become as essential as students wearing their uniform polo. This is an opportunity for your child to put first things first and show how they can take care of their own responsibilities.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We are always here to listen and help!
Have a great week!
With Kind Regards,
Mrs. Swieckowski
