Welcome Back!

Dear Cottonwood Family,

Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year! I am very excited to begin my second year as the principal of Cottonwood School. Because of the quality of our staff, scholars, and families, this is a fantastic place this is to work! I can’t wait to see the heights our scholars and staff achieve this year.

Relationships are critical to me and key to our success as educators. I look forward to continuing to build relationships with all of you, as well as our scholars, and community members. I know that the education of our scholars can only be done well with the support of our parents and community.

Cottonwood exemplifies our district's vision of Embrace, Educate and Empower. I am excited to continue to work alongside the staff, students, and families to continue the great work going on here with a focus on literacy and attendance. Our goal is to have our scholars here each day, on time, and ready to learn so we can accelerate our scholars' learning.

Please know that I truly have an open-door policy. If you have any questions or concerns moving forward, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and offer my support - do not hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely,

Albert Trudel
