Message from Mrs. Winkler
Another great week of learning at FES! This week at morning assembly we talked about setting goals for ourselves each week and trying to work toward that goal during the week both in and out of the classroom. We will continue to talk about goal setting in the gym in the mornings. We also focused a lot this week on talking about how to keep ourselves safe at recess. We shared what the safe choices are that we make while playing games and on equipment at recess.
If you have not yet completed your online registration, please do so ASAP. Also, remember the credit card fees are waived through September when paying book fees and adding lunch money to your child's account.
Thanks for all the help in transportation over the last couple of weeks! Things are running much smoother and we are keeping kids safe as they come to and from school!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!!

September 21st will be our first public PTO meeting in the FES library at 6:00. We want you there to join us! It's your chance to hear about what will be happening with the students and to share ideas, give input on activites for our school, and to get involved. We hope that many of you can join us that night!
We know that there will be times children will be sick and unable to attend school. We ask that you call in to notify the school by 7:50. You can call the school or email the teacher or Mrs. Harmon at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to give us the student's name, teacher, and reason for the abscense. Also, let us know if there is someone we can send homework with in the evening.
