Volunteer at the Houston Zoo
Community Service Opportunity

RSS Student Council has been offered an awesome opportunity to volunteer at our very own Houston Zoo!!! This opportunity will be counted as a field trip and limited to only 15-20 students only. You will need to pick up and return a permission slip NO LATER than Monday, March 28th in Mrs. Lowery's room (HMKG 2)! We will be helping the primate team with some upkeep around the animal exhibit.
Requirements:
Fully commit to the project, have a great attitude, work hard.
Submit a photographic release and liability release to the Houston Zoo.
Bring you own reusable water bottle.
Agree to not use phone in public viewing areas while volunteering.
Wear THIS YEARS student council shirt. (If you don't have one see if you can borrow a friends to attend. Zoo rule to all have matching shirts, no exceptions.)
Wear appropriate length shorts (no shorter than 4 inches above the knee) or pants and close toed shoes.
PERMISSION FORMS DUE MARCH 28th FIRST 20 TO TURN IN GET TO GO!!!
Other Opportunities:
We will have another volunteer/ field trip opportunity in May working with Habitat for Humanity.
