Parallel circuit
a closed electrical circuit in which the current is divided into two or more paths and then returns a common path to complete the circuit.
Series circuit
series are connected along a single path, so the same current flows through all of the components.
Voltage
an electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts.
Resistance
the degree to which a substance or device opposes the passage of an electric current, causing energy dissipation. Ohm's law resistance (measured in ohm's) is equal to the voltage divided by the current.
Resistor
an electrical circuit to restrict the flow of electricity and project the components in the circuit.
Hypothesis 1 and 2
1: if the Christmas lights are arranged in parallel circuit then when 1 bulb bursts (is removed) the other bulbs circuit light up.
2: if the Christmas lights are arranged in a series circuit then when 1 bulb bursts the other bulbs don't light up.
Observation 1 and 2
1: I noticed that the light did light up when I connected the wire
2: the light bulb didn't light up when I put the wire but when I put the battery it bad.
