Eaton Rapids Walking Club
Free Good Form Walking Clinic March 28th at 10 am
Eaton Rapids Kicks Off Free Walking Club
Good Form Walking (GFW) evolved as a method to help walkers of all ages
and abilities move forward more efficiently. Learning the three simple components
of GFW can help people to walk without injury, with a well-balanced stride and with renewed
vigor. GFW instruction has helped hundreds of people walk better, farther, and more frequently! The first 15 adults who arrive at the clinic will be eligible to have their walking filmed to analyze its efficiency. No one is required to be filmed. The walking clinic will take place in the Eaton Rapids Middle School Cafeteria. It is free of charge. We encourage all adults who want to participate in the Saturday morning walking club to attend and anyone else who wants to focus on proper form for physical activity.
If people are interested in establishing walking groups on other days and times, please come to the clinic and network to form a group that meets your needs. Let's get Eaton Rapids moving!
Note: We recognize this is during the school's spring break. No one is required to attend the clinic to participate in the walking club weekly.
Good Form Walking Clinic
Adults of all ages, join us for a free walking clinic to learn to walk more efficiently without injury. The event will take place in the Eaton Rapids Middle School cafeteria and will serve as the first official meeting of the new Saturday morning walking club.
The new walking club will meet each week at the middle school at 10 am after the kick off walking clinic.
Wear your walking shoes and come to the kick off prepared to be inspired. All are welcome regardless of your ability to commit to the regular Saturday walking club. Registration below is encouraged so we can send you an email/text reminder.
