Character Ed. Winners
Rachel Heimel, a senior at Rhea County High School, is Roane State's December Dual Studies Student of the Month. Rachel aspires to be a high school math teacher. Her favorite subjects are math and history. She is involved with the FCA, Beta Club, and is a member of the varsity volleyball team. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, volleyball, and running. She shared her favorite quote, which is the Bible verses found in 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18, “Therefore we do not give up, even though our outer person I being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction is producing for us and absolutely incomparable Eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
