A Letter from Madras PTSO
Dear Madras Parents,
Thanks to the dedication and support of our parents, teachers, staff and students, Madras Middle School has been very successful in every area. Our teachers have compiled a “wish list.” This list includes digital balances for the Science Department, approximately 10 Memeo Boards and repairs to our Madras sign at the front entrance. MMS PTSO will offer two ways you can help contribute to the purchase of these needed items.
In the past, parents have expressed an interest in making a simple donation in lieu of a fundraiser (in which only a percentage of profits go to the school). To accommodate this request, the MMS PTSO would like to offer the opportunity for families to make a simple monetary donation. We hope you will consider donating a minimum of $10.00 per student. This would take us to our $10,000.00 goal, enabling us to purchase several educational resources. Any amount you choose to donate would be greatly appreciated. The priority of the PTSO is to fund the basic academic needs of MMS that are not covered by the state/local budget.
For our parents who would like to order magazines, we are still promoting the yearly magazine sales online. The name of the company is Great American Fundraising. The link to promote is www.gaschoolstore.com. Our school code is 2521599. This fundraising is all year long and you can order any time. The site has more than magazines and Madras will receive 40% profit from anything ordered.
Please take time to seriously consider making a difference at MMS. With your support, the PTSO will be able to provide the students with the tools they need in order to be successful in the world today. We hope this simple form of fundraising will help each of you. We greatly appreciate your support as we strive to help Madras achieve these goals.
We would like to have this fundraiser completed as soon as possible. We are hoping to have our goals met at this point. Remember we are doing this so other major forms of fundraising will not be necessary throughout the school year.
Please go online for magazine sales and/or return the form (download this form at the link below) to Madras PTSO with your donation to our school. Please feel free to share with anyone who would like to contribute to our success at Madras Middle School. Madras PTSO appreciates your support!
