Library Reading Programs

Reading program in numbers:

The library has received over 350 reading logs and projects from students in grade levels 2-5! Students continue to turn in reading logs, ask about projects and read, read, read!

Our Texas Bluebonnet Nominees program has come to an end. We had 40 students that turned in their reading logs in 3rd - 5th grade, this is 10 more students than last year, we're so glad that more of our Hornets are participating in this program! We will be voting to select our school's favorite Bluebonnet Nominee next week. Students that turned in their reading log will attend our Bluebonnet Bash with poet Brod Bagert, congratulations Hornets!

Current reading programs:

Think Snow for Kinder & 1st grades : January

Fiction, nonfiction, biographies and reference tags: January - April

Authors & Illustrator visits

We will host 2 more authors this semester, Poet Brod Bagert (1st & 2nd) and Katie Klise (Kinder & 1st). We will post their schedules and send information about their books as their visit approaches.
