15th Annual Rucktoberfest

You Have Been Invited!

For Those of You Who Have Not Attended in the Past, Here is What to Expect...

Rucktoberfest is one of the largest 15's tournaments held in the Southeast. The tournament will be played out over a two day period beginning on Saturday. Teams will compete in pool play Saturday. The standings will then be carried over into Sunday for single elimination bracket play. Saturday evening a social will be held at Parthenon Cafe. Everyone in Boone is invited and we encourage all of you to come out as well! Once Sunday rolls around and the tournament is complete, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to the respective teams

Once on Dale Street you will pass by a fenced in parking lot to your right, the complex is just through the yellow gates at the road's end

Dates, Costs, and Tournament Details


  • Save your team some money! Early Registration (Ends 9/2/13): $225 for an A-Side, $125 for a B-Side
  • Registration past September 2nd: $275 for an A-Side, $145 for a B-Side


  • 20 minute halves will be played for Saturday's games, and 30 minute halves will be played for Sunday's Games
  • B-Side squads will be entered in their own bracket depending on the amount entering. If the number of B-Sides entered are lacking, we will simply place them into the A-Side bracket

Important Dates

  • The tournament will be played October 5th and 6th
  • RSVP Deadline: May 31st
  • Early Registration Deadline: September 2nd
  • Friday, October 4th, from 8-10pm, Captains and/or Coaches can swing by Parthenon Cafe to pick up their team's information packet

1. RSVP!

Send your RSVP to our email listed below. The deadline is May 31st (although we understand if you send it a little bit later). Make sure to include your contact information, team name, and number of squads you intend to bring

2. Pay Your Team's Entry Fee

When sending your RSVP, please let us know which payment method you intend to use

Please make out your check to AHO Men's Rugby Club and mail it to the postal address listed below. Please write out a separate check if you are entering a B-Side in the tournament

Miscellaneous Info

  • An EMS squad will be present throughout the entire tournament
  • Of course, there will be several SERRS to oversee each match
  • Some pretty slick T-shirts will be sold as well. We will have a limited supply and they go fast, so make sure you buy yours quick!

Where Will the Social be Held?

Beginning Saturday evening, at 8:00pm. We encourage everyone to come out Saturday night. This is a great time to meet all of the players, swap stories, and recollect from the games played that day. If luck is on your side, you may even see the infamous Zulu Warriors
