Week 26 Edition/February 10, 2023
Message from Dr. Frischkorn
Good Evening Mayfield Intermediate School students and families!
Thank you to all the parents that participated in Parent/Teacher Conferences throughout the past week. We appreciate all that our families do as we all work together to support each student in our school. Here at Mayfield, we are committed to ensuring that each student grows academically and is on-grade level or above by the time they leave Mayfield and head to Metz Middle School. To accomplish this goal, we all must work together (Parents, Teachers, and Administrators). Please reach out to us at Mayfield if you need further support. We are here to work with you.
Always Learning,
Dr. Donald Frischkorn

Secure the Building and Lockdown Drills at Mayfield
Each year our school conducts several safety drills with our students and staff to help better prepare our school community. Training throughout the year includes monthly fire drills, two bus evacuation drills a year, and secure building/lockdown drills. Our school will practice a secure-the-building drill. The training should take no more than 10-15 minutes. Teachers will review the procedures for securing the building drill during this time. School administrators, safety officers, and resource officers will check doors and ensure that the drill has been completed.
