A Message from our Principal
Dear Holy Family Catholic Community,
Last Wednesday’s Silly Sock Day was a super success and so was the Home and School Association meeting and Art Enrichment! Pizza was enjoyed by all! Thanks go to Mrs. Angie Uptmore, our HSA president, and Mrs. Sara Hiett for leading the art enrichment, Mrs. Price was there to help all our student artists. We are planning on having one enrichment program per quarter that coincides with that month’s Home and School Association meeting.
I just ordered my socks for next month from this site...

New HSA officers were elected last Wednesday night, they are:
President - Angie Uptmore
Treasurer - Rebecca Luna
Secretary - Mary Reyes
The School Advisory Board also met last Wednesday night. The minutes from the September SAC meeting were approved. To view, please click the file below...
Did you know that Holy Family Catholic Church and School was originally named St. Alice Catholic Church and School? Sara Hiett, Lisa Griffith and I have been working on creating a dedicated gallery space in Pemberton Library to celebrate the history of our school. Come and visit the gallery this Wednesday, October 23, from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, at the Coffee and Conversation with the Principal.
Our Virtue of the Month is Forgiveness and our Saint of the Month is Saint Faustina.
Today at Monday Morning Prayer we celebrated our Honors students and also our Accelerated Readers.

Help spread the word to your family and friends in support of Holy Family Catholic School!
Time to Migrate!
Mrs. Wetmore's third graders are on their annual monarch butterfly watch. They sent monarchs they colored to children in Mexico. The monarchs migrate twice a year, and are in town now on their journey south to Mexico from Canada their wintering grounds.
Did you know that Fort Worth is the top of the funnel for the migration? So get out there and plant your milkweed for the spring migration and watch the monarchs fill your garden!
