Happy New Year!
I hope that you all enjoyed your Winter Break and were able to spend time with your family and friends. I had a great time with our highlight playing Speak Out on Christmas Eve as a family. My belly still hurts from laughing so much. When we returned to school on Monday, it was as if we hadn't been gone for 10 days. The students and staff went right back to learning and it was great getting into classrooms to take part in the learning. I got to read a little bit, too. I also gave the students a challenge- come up with one word to focus on for the rest of the school year. We're part of the #oneword2017 challenge with educators from around the world. My one word is Priorities. What is yours?

Grant from Meemic
Meemic, an insurance company just for educators, has a grant program to support schools. If you have the time and care to do so, here is a link for a chance at a $500 grant for supplies for our schools.
Thanks for your consideration.
