5 Things to know today about WNHS
Teal and Black - Go Thunder!
Activity Bus
Did you know that there is an activity bus every day? The district has generously provided an activity bus every day at 4:30 and 6 PM. Any student can ride, BUT they must check in with Mrs. Melson by noon (12 PM) each day to tell her that they would like to ride the bus. If your student needs to stay for clubs, sports, or tutoring, they can do that without you coming to pick them up. Check it out!
Interventions Starting Next Week!
Next week our Peer Tutoring program will be in full swing. Many different subjects are available for tutoring if your student is starting to struggle in any class. Tutoring takes place in the library. Students can get help during lunch and study halls, and after school. Go to the library to get an exact schedule. We also have our ASAP help program in Math and English running on Tuesday and Thursday after school in the library. Don't let your student get behind, SEND THEM FOR TUTORING!

PARENT CONFERENCES COMING SOON!
Next week, you will be receiving an email from D200 (and us) about your instructions for how to sign up for your student's parent conferences. Conferences are October 3rd, from 4-9 PM, and October 4, from 9 AM to 9 PM. There is no school on Friday, October 5th, or Monday, October 8th. Please watch for that information and be sure to come and meet your student's teachers.
Senior College Visitation Days
Did you know the best way to help your student pick the correct college is to visit? You have 3 different days you can do this with your students. October 5, October 8 (if the college is in session), and October 10 while the Juniors take the PSAT. October 10 is a non- attendance day for your Seniors - get them out to check out some schools!
