Student Council TOY DRIVE December 11th-21st

Dear Families,

The student council members at Ventana Vista Elementary are hosting a TOY DRIVE to benefit children who are patients at Banner Children’s. Banner Health provides family-centered, comprehensive pediatric care for children. Part of that care includes nurturing young patients during what can sometimes be a stressful time in their lives. Toy closets, or carts, can be found at all of the Banner Health facilities that offer pediatric services, to provide a much-deserved reward to children undergoing treatment, especially during the holidays. We are hopeful your donations will help children right here in our own community at Diamond Children’s Medical Center. You may drop off any NEW, UNWRAPPED toys or books in the winter-decorated boxes during the dates listed above. It is crucial that the toys be brand new to decrease the risk of infection in these facilities. Thank you in advance for your compassion and generosity during this time of giving.

Family of the Month-The Loutfy Family

The Loutfy's have been a Ventana Vista Family for four years. Jordan is a 3rd grader in the Spanish Immersion program. Kevin and Jill have lived in Tucson since 1982. That makes Jordan a Tucson native! The Loutfy's enjoy dancing, riding bikes, swimming, reading and travelling. The thing they love most about Ventana Vista is the teachers!

Thanks Loutfy Family for your direct donation to the FFO! And congrats on winning that special parking space for the month of December.
