Message From Your Principal
The staff at Challenger is working hard at connecting with each and every student. We appreciate all of the supports that our families have provided during these unique times. In the coming weeks, we are asking you to continue to partner with us at supporting our students. We will be asking for support with distance learning and preparing for when our students to return to school.
Distance Learning
In looking at various online articles, I noticed that most of them ask the parents to do a lot! I am only going to ask one thing, please stay in contact with your child’s teacher. This is crucial, so that we can work together to problem solve any situation that may arise. Our teachers care deeply for our students and want to stay connected.
Preparing for Returning to School
Even though we don’t know the exact date, we do know that we will be returning to school. In order to help the staff at Challenger, we ask that you begin to have your students practice wearing their masks. Start slow, with asking your child to wear the mask for 5 minutes. Each day gradually increase the time that your student is wearing a mask. If you don’t have a mask, contact your teacher and we will work to get your family a mask for your student to wear.
We appreciate your support and look forward to the time where we have all students on campus, Striving for their Highest Potential!

Message From Your Dean of Students
It is hard to believe that we are already over a month into the school year! In the world of attendance, every single day of school counts. Your child must attend their 9 AM Zoom meetings and/or finish assignments on Schoology to be marked present for the day. At Challenger, we take attendance very seriously, and we are currently tracking excused and unexcused absences. If you know that your child will not be able to attend school for that day (for example, if your child has a scheduled doctor’s appointment or comes down with a cold that does not allow them to access the computer), please call our attendance line at 425-366-2500. If your child is struggling to attend school daily, we will want to set up a meeting with you so that we can best work as a team to support your child. Thank you for all that you do to support your child’s education!
