As much as $500 billion is wagered illegally on sporting events each year by some estimates.

It could bring tourism to sport stadiums. 73,000 seat in the new Viking stadiums. The three newest pro football stadiums have cost $720 million. Brings in a lot of money for the state(s).

Nevada generated upwards $20 million in tax revenue from sports wagering in 2012.
