Our Community Beach Clean Up will be held at Kite Beach on Sunday May 15th at 8:00am. A representative Mr. Feras from the Dubai Municipality will be there with us on the day and will weigh all the rubbish that the students have collected and explain to them where it goes next. We will also have activities, prizes and a community picnic on the beach after. We aim to be finished by 10:00am.
We would love it if you could sign up to attend the event using the link below if you have not done so already.
Also here are the details of our fundraising page where you can make a donation with all proceeds going to the UNICEF charity WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene).

A message from Miss Naomi
Miss Naomi will be embarking on a new adventure at the end of May and would like to thank you all for your incredible support during her time here at DHA. Having started working at the school just shortly after it opened, she feels like she has been on an incredible journey with all the students, their families and staff.
On Friday May 20th, as Miss Naomi loves her different hairstyles, we will be having Crazy Hair Day at school. She will be inviting the PTA and parents in for a morning coffee and will finish up by hosting the school assemblies.
She would like to thank you all again for your support during her time with the school and she will be sure to stop by and say hello in the future.

Planning my holidays
If you are ready to spend some quality time with me then please let the school know and then I can finish my packing.
PE & Sport at DHA
This week the students focussed on shooting in basketball. We also finalised out basketball squads - training will take place every Tuesday in line with our ECA program. If your child was selected for the squad then please ensure you do not sign them up for any other ECAs on that day. Fixture and tournament information will be communicated closer to each event.
Reminder
A gentle reminder that we return to our regular timetable after the Eid holiday and therefore swim lessons will begin once again. Please ensure your child has their swim kit on days they are timetabled to swim - this includes a swim costume, swim cap, towel and flip flops/crocs.
