Library Genre Focus

The genre we've focused on this month is Mystery, and we have had an exciting time of book passes, activities and read alouds.

Next month stay tuned for some fascinating Non-fiction reads! What better time to be reading about veterans, colonial America and our presidents than the month of November.

Stop by and check out our focus book table to pick up some must reads!

Reading Passports

So far 1st-8th graders have started their reading passports and are excited to be reading outside of class as they work towards their reading goals and getting their passports stamped. Parent letters were sent home the day I talked to each class about the program, but if any of you want additional copies so you can help your child work on their passport at home, I'm attaching those pages here.

Pre-School and Pre-K families!

I wish I was able to have all the pre-school and pre-k classes come down for library, but unfortunately with how schedules worked this year, that wasn't able to happen. However all your students have a library account, so you are welcome to bring them down to check out books anytime before or after their school day!
