Message from our Principal

Greetings Bobcat Families!

We've had a great start to the 2017-2018 school year! What a delight it was to see and meet so many Dodd families at our annual Meet the Teacher Night in August. It was equally impressive to have so many parents join us for our 1st annual Parent Orientation Evening! We have numerous events planned for this year, so I hope you'll connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Remind to get the latest notifications and updates concerning school events.

The Blanche Dodd Bobcat News will be published monthly on our school website and emailed to all parents via the email address we have on file. In addition, it will be uploaded to our social media sites. I hope you find it to be a useful tool in knowing what's happening in your child's school.

Wishing you a successful September!

Mrs. Tricia Bolz

Blanche Dodd Intermediate School Parent Drop Off & Pick Up Safety Procedures

In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety of all students, we ask that persons who drive children to and/or from school adhere to the following procedures:

Enter the drop off/pick up lane via Bobcat Drive. Do not drive through or park in the bus route area during the hours of 7:15-8:15 AM and 2:30-3:45 PM. School dismissal time is 3:25 PM. Students should be picked up no later than 3:40PM. After 3:40 you must come into the office and sign your child out.

Do not attempt to pass other cars in line – students may be getting in or out of the vehicle in front of you. The crosswalk should stay clear of vehicles at all times. Please do not stop on the crosswalk.

Cell phone usage is not allowed in school zones. All students walking across the parking lot during pick up and drop off times must use the crosswalk and be escorted by an adult. Thank you for doing your part to help us keep your children safe!
