After Marco got released from prison, he returned to Venice where he married, raised three daughters and, for some 25 years, Marco Polo died in his home. He wasn't killed by someone.

Marco Polo was one of the first/most famous European to travel to Asia during the Middle Ages. Marco went down the "Silk Road." On one of his voyages when he reached China and Mongolia, where he became a confident of Kublai Khan. Marco sometimes traveled with family.
