Marco Polo was born in September 15, 1254. Marco Polo's homeland is Vernic, Italy. This means his nationality is Italian. Marco Polo traveled through Turkey, Armenia, and Iraq with his family. His Uncle and Father were very rich. He died January 8, 1324.

Marco Polo sailed for Mongol ruler Khubilai Khan. Khubilai Khan is powerful. He sent him on trips to help administer the realm.

After Marco got released from prison, he returned to Venice where he married, raised three daughters and, for some 25 years, Marco Polo died in his home. He wasn't killed by someone.

Voyages:

Marco Polo was one of the first/most famous European to travel to Asia during the Middle Ages. Marco went down the "Silk Road." On one of his voyages when he reached China and Mongolia, where he became a confident of Kublai Khan. Marco sometimes traveled with family.
