Happy February to all of our Sundancers! We have certainly hit the ground running since January, and are continuing this month as we progress towards Spring and the end of the year. I feel that Spring is peeking its head just around the corner, and with that comes some of the most exciting times at our school:) Just to name a few...we will have a Father/Daughter Dance on Friday, February 10th as well as our Valentines Dance, on February 14, during PE. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these events! Additionally, we will have Interim testing for all third, fourth and fifth graders from February 7-9..

We are excited to have two new additions to our family. Ms. Carzoli, our second grade teacher came on board January 13, 2023. She is excited to begin her teaching journey here at TDS.

Mrs. Perez, our third grade teachers comes with many years of experience. She loves teaching and her students.

E-SPORTS AT TDS

Did you know Tierra Del Sol has an E-Sports team that competes against other YISD campuses. E-Sports is fun and engaging. YISD is the first district in El Paso to incorporate E-Sports into its curriculum. Gaming promotes diversity, inclusiveness, and potential to serve as a gateway to college scholarships and high-paying STEM jobs.

ROBOTICS

Robotics is happening at Tierra Del Sol. Recently, our team competed in Riverside's blended VEX IQ Tournament. They had an amazing performance. Good job Sundancers!!
