Lincoln Bulletin
Last Friday Lincoln Student Council sponsored our Spring Family Dance. We had a wonderful turnout. Families and kids enjoyed a hula hoop contest, limbo, and a visit from a special guest. Below are some pictures from the photo booth. We will highlight these photos and make them accessible for students and families during the end of the year activities or events. Also, check out our Twitter or Facebook page to see highlights of Lincoln events or learning during school.
The month of May is always a busy time of the year. We have many events scheduled within and outside of the school day. Please be sure to check the Lincoln bulletin sent weekly so you don’t miss out on any of the fun! Also, below I have included information from the St. Charles Public Library. They will begin expansion plans which involve demolition of the houses across from our school.
Next week, our orchestra students will perform at Wredling Middle school on Thursday, April 25 night at 6:00. Our 1st and 3rd-grade students will be performing in their music program during the evening on Tuesday, May 7 at Lincoln School.

The Library is moving along with our demolition quickly. Below is a schedule of what you will start to see in the next weeks:
Activity
Estimated Start Date
Fencing to go up around houses--4/22/2019
Removal of hazardous materials--4/23/2019
Utility Shutoff--April 29- May 3
St Charles Fire and Police Department Training-----April 29---May 13
Demolition Begins------May 13 - May 30 2019
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me! The Library, of course, will remain open as this doesn’t affect our building and operations. When demolition begins, we may anticipate some construction inconvenience on Sixth and Walnut. I apologize in advance! Kendall Excavating is a very reputable company and does a lot of governmental demolition work.
