To be or not to be
That is the question
"To be or not to be, that is the question." Hamlet expresses this phrase in his somber soliloquy deep within the castle walls. He is expressing how he feels about death, and the moral aspects that many face when looking at suicide. In a way he is saying "to live or not to live." This greatly advances the plot, because it shows how hamlet is thinking about death and how it is effecting his conscience on a deeper level.
