Fundraising Buddies Monthly Newsletter
Let the Stepping Finish!
The Step-a-thon had officially begun on September the 2nd and finished on Sunday the 8th of September. This event was created by the Murdoch Children's Research Institute to raise vital funds for children illnesses such as asthma, allergies and cancer. For one week the Fundraising Buddies will wear a pedometer on their ankle and aim to take ten thousand steps a day. Their goal is to raise $300, and the only way they can do that is by you donating. Please support them and make a big or small donation, because every little bit does count!

Last year, Casey proudly join Movember, a charitable event where participants are to grow a moustache for the month of November. Casey got down into it and stuck on a fake moustache for the month, raising a whopping $1,120! Eager to do it this year, Casey invited the Fundraising Buddies to join her. But a complication has arisen at the school Casey, Kira and Jasmine attend. Due to school rules, the three cannot wear a moustache in school grounds. The groups was extremely disappointed, but glad that the school are more than happy to help them fundraise by allowing them to hold fundraising events. Though this problem has occurred, it isn't stopping the group doing Movember! Casey, Kira, and Jasmine will wear a moustache whenever they are out of school grounds. They hope you understand why they are unable to wear a moustache in school grounds.
