Peek At The Week
April 29, 2019
Team,
I would like to give a shout out to our elective teachers! Thank you for being so flexible with our Interventions! You have been such great team players! No one can com[are to you.
On Friday, we got a little tease from TEA regarding scores for our 8th grade Math and Reading STAAR scores. TEA has said that the final report will be given on Monday. As requested, allow the teachers who teach the core content the opportunity to discuss their successes.
Heads up: 8th grade Science Boot Camp is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Be on the lookout for the students who will be missing your elective class.
Reminder.... all of your Data Talks uploaded into STRIVE. Data Talks 3 or 4 is how many you should have, dependent upon how you analyzed your Interim Data. Some of you only have 1 entry for Data Talks as of Friday.Thank you for taking care of this on Monday, since I have decided not to hold our Faculty Meeting after school. TBH if I KNEW emails would be read, I would forego them for the rest of the year. The Administrative Team communicates to the staff fairly well. However, you must read your emails.
As always, Teach Happy!
-Denise
