Follow your Dreams- Inspirational Speeches

Teach Them to DREAM!

Dreams are important for all ages. Dreams encompass goals and give your life purpose, direction, and meaning. They shape your life choices, help you build toward the future, and give you a sense of control and hope. They're an expression of your potential and give voice to your talents. They are a source of pleasure and help develop self. They can change the world – just think of those famous words from Martin Luther King, Jr., "I have a dream!" Dreamers are the ones who have the courage and creativity to see beyond "what is" to "what can be" to make a difference in their own life and the lives of others.

How are you supporting the dreams of our students? Your coworkers? Yourself?

The dreams of children have NO ceiling. We can encourage our students to dream by:

1) Listening to them

2) Helping them set goals

3) Encouraging them

4) Setting good examples

5)Believing in their greatness

Help them dream BIG!

Carlisle Elementary School Family Blog

Blogging provides an opportunity to model digital citizenship, reflect, exercise voice and empower our school family to join in the education conversation. This blog will be a place where ALL stakeholders have the opportunity to contribute and share. Please be prepared, as you may at some point be asked to provide a post. DO NOT wait to be asked!! Posts may be about a great classroom practice that you have found that works, your reflections as a teacher or community member or a call to action (to just list a few). Encourage your students to submit a post!! Submitting a post is easy! Just type it up in a Google Doc and share with Mrs. Norton. She will make sure it gets posted to the blog site. If you have pictures to add to the post, insert those into the doc as well.

Let's use this opportunity to shine and share! If we don't tell our story...someone else will and we want it told correctly!!

We hope you take advantage of this oppportunity!! #gamechanger
