Eversole Run Principal's Weekly
Eversole Run Middle School | September 16, 2022
Dear Eversole Run Families,
We had another great week of school! Our students had a blast during the football tailgate yesterday cheering our 8th grade football team to victory. I loved seeing our students playing games, eating pizza, and having fun with their friends. School pride was definitely on display last night!
During our DCS Staff Convocation, Dr. Marschhausen introduced the R-Factor (Event + Response = Outcome). This week, Eversole Run continued the work in R-Factor with press pause and think. As a school, we will continue to learn all components of the R-Factor and slowly introduce the district initiative to our students. Next year we will fully integrate all parts of R-Factor to our student body.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and we look forward to seeing your child on Monday.
Go Eagles!

Athletics
It was a great week in the world of Eversole Eagle Athletics!
Yesterday, our student-body had a great time at the all-school tailgate ahead of our 8th Grade Football victory over Worthington Cardinals, 36-12. With our 7th Grade Football team's 14-0 win over the Cards on Wednesday, our program is a perfect 8-0 to date. The teams look forward to next week's challenge vs. a perennially strong Marysville squad.
Boys and Girls Golf continues to roll. Girls defeated UA Jones on Tuesday, while Boys were a perfect 3-0 for the week.
On Wednesday, our 8th Grade Volleyball team picked up a big win at Sells Middle School in 3 sets. Great job, ladies!
Lastly, our Cheerleading squad continues to drive our Eagle Spirit each day in the school and on the sidelines on gameday. We appreciate their hard work!
Next week, we have a big Wednesday with a home Volleyball (vs. Davis) and 7th Grade Football (vs. Marysville). Come on out and support our Eagles.
