The University of North Alabama's Epsilon Psi Chapter of the educational honor society, Kappa Delta Pi, will be recognizing local teachers for their demonstration of excellence in the classroom at their induction/honor cord ceremony on April 28th. Each year, KDP highlights educators who have made impactful contributions to both their students and the community by awarding them the Distinguished Educator Award. Chapter officers, with assistance and guidance from faculty at the university, select the award recipients based on their experience in the local schools and testimony given by their peers at UNA concerning the nominated teachers.

This year, they will be recognizing two local teachers, an Elementary Education teacher, and a Secondary Education teacher.

Hannah Bradford, Director of Performing Arts at Muscle Shoals High School, was selected to be awarded this prestigious award for the secondary level.
