At Whitthorne Middle School, CREST teachers assist with the following:

• Help students with the submission of an assignment;
• Assistance with student submittal of work via hard-copy or virtual formats;
• Assistance getting needed materials;
• You will receive a phone call, e-mail, and or other digital communication or response from the CREST teacher;
• Student will be required to check in with the CREST teacher daily to be counted present.

To be considered “in attendance,” students in grades 5 through 12 will be required to engage in some type of meaningful student engagement or interaction for each individual class scheduled for that school day. If teacher expectations regarding remote instruction are not met, then the student may be marked absent.

Are you in need of food? OneGenAway invites you to come to a FREE Saturday Mobile Food Distribution. There will be 15,000-25,000 lbs. of food that will be delivered to a parking lot, where volunteers will be waiting to sort and distribute it all to neighbors in need. OneGenAway prides itself on providing fresh and healthy foods and things that are easily prepared and cooked. They do not ask questions or have requirements for people who can receive food.

DISTRIBUTION – 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

LOCATION – Columbia State Community College at 1665 Hampshire Pike Columbia, TN 38401.

Food is served outside, rain or shine.

Opt-Out

If someone wants to stop getting messages from a specific school, they can reply to the school message with @leave. If someone wants to stop ALL messages from ALL schools, have them respond to the school message with @stopall.

Joining a School

To receive messages from specific schools in your district, you must join the schools. Once you are a member of the schools, the schools will appear under the Schools section of your left navigation panel. Follow the instructions in the link below to add a school to your Remind account.
