Weekly Spotlight On MPHS!

Dr. B's Weekly Update: 3/2/2018

It's All Fun & Games at the MPHS Help Desk!

Help desk kids are learning how to network computers. They took 4 desktop computers destined for MP families without a home computer and networked them together. Then, they installed a free video soccer game and can now play 2 on 2 team soccer at four different workstations. This is part of how they earn the digital badges provided by the VASTAR organization.

GANAS Hosts Guest Speaker: It's Virtual!

Kai Frazier, a former MPMS teacher, now runs a company that brings museums to students using Virtual Reality technology. Her goal is to reach under-served communities whose students often do not have access to the support necessary to visit some of the great museums and memorials in our country. NBC 4 joined the evening and presented a great story on the event.

Welcome to MPHS, Mr. Webb!
