Lead Teacher - Ms. Kate
I began my teaching career at Butterfly Christian Preschool in 2007 and later moved on to the University of Texas Child Development Center where I taught for over 7 years. I have a BA in History from the University of Texas, Austin and I have been teaching at St. David’s Day School since January of 2019. In my free time I enjoy music, traveling, baseball (Go Cardinals!), cooking, baking, reading, exploring museums, playing with my crazy cat, and spending time with my family. Classroom Philosophy
In this classroom we will do lots of learning through play, get really messy with our process art and sensory activities, and read a million books. That means I will be doing my absolute best to make sure every single one of your children feels welcome, comfortable, and safe when they walk through my classroom door. I want every child to reach their potential and have so much fun getting there.
