Volunteer Opportunity - Video Message from Ms. Benisch
Fun Fact: This video message was created by Ms. Benisch using Screencastify. This is a great and easy to use tool that students can use when presenting!
Free Internet!
As spectrum was the first to offer free internet at home to our student's other Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have jumped on board. Frontier, T-Mobile, and US Cellular are also now offering free internet for families in need.
Spectrum Mobile: 1-844-488-8395
Frontier Communications: 1-800-921-8101
T-Mobile: Download an Application on their Website
US Cellular: 1-888-944-9400
Note that US Cellular and T-Mobile are offering Hotspots but the delivery on those are a few weeks out, unfortunately. They estimate 3-4 weeks right now. Also, please note that Frontier and Spectrum are slower in larger areas but quick in smaller areas such as ours.

BizTank Live Webinars Now Available to ALL Students!
Get registered for the BizTank live webinars! Again, anyone who wants to join is allowed, so tell your friends and family.
BizTank is all about giving individuals exposure to the world of business through a stimulating and interactive program. They bring in spectacular keynote speakers to explain the drive, hard work, the directions their lives have taken, their successes, and of course, failures. Some of their speakers include Jason Feifer, Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine; Abe Minkara, Mark Cuban Companies; Ann Miletti, Head of Active Equity at Wells Fargo Asset Management, and many more!
BizTank is for the dreamers, the planners, the "know-it-alls," and the "I'm-not-quite-sure-I-know-what-I'm-doing-with-my-life" type of kids.
They do not promote or demote college or careers. Keynotes come from various backgrounds and occupations. Some keynote speakers have gone to college, and some have not. Some changed their degree multiple times, while some did not. Some work in business, some in the trades, some in healthcare, some in the arts. It is all about giving YOU insight into different careers by listening to the path of someone who has already done it. You will learn that there is no "straight shot" to a career path or a life goal, but BizTank is here to help you understand that and allow you to learn about careers before you go ALL IN.
Click here to register for the BizTank virtual speakers series this Spring starting tomorrow evening!
Further questions about BizTank can be directed to Mrs. Benisch, Work Based Learning Coordinator, at: labenisch@clintonwis.com.
Troubleshooting Google Hangout/Meet Tech Issues
If students have audio or video issues in Google Hangouts/Meets here are instructions for how to troubleshoot:
It's important to note that there are two different ways students are connecting to Hangouts/Meets:
1. Students are using the link in Calendar to connect.
2. Students are being video called from the "Chat" Box
Both are fine but that means there are two different ways to fix the issue.
For the first, you will want to have students click on the three dots in the lower right hand corner of the screen and then select Settings. From here a pop-up Window will appear in which the student can choose which device to use for Audio (Speakers and Mic) and Video.
For the Second way of connecting the student needs to click on the gear and NOT the three dots and the gear is in the upper right hand corner of the screen instead of the bottom right.
After selecting the gear a similar pop up will appear for students to then select their audio and video devices.
