Happy September!
- Self-Manager Badges-It is that time of year where we start the Kendall Knights Self-Manager program! This is a program where students are recognized for practicing the core virtues, social emotional skills and managing their own behavior. Letters will go home on October 1st with a detailed explanation of the program and the process the students must go through to earn a badge. Please encourage your children to participate as this is a great opportunity!
- Custodian Appreciation Day!- Wed., Oct. 2 -Thank you to our amazing custodians and all that they do to keep our building and campus clean, healthy, and safe! They are amazing! If you child would like to write them a note of appreciation they can send in a card to share on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Our wonderful custodians include Mr. James, Mrs. Rosa, Mr. Hector, and Mrs. Josie.

- Gifted and Talented Nominations- Boerne ISD will be accepting parent nominations for their child for a GT assessment with a deadline of November 1, 2019.
Parents may request a referral for Gifted and Talent assessment by turning in the Parent Referral Form to the campus counselor no later than November 1, 2019. Please refer to the BISD Gifted and Talented website at https://www.boerneisd.net/Page/4203 to access the Parent Referral form as well as for more information regarding G/T referral procedures and service design. - Watchdogs- Kendall is looking for some eager Dads or Male mentors to serve as Watch D.O.G.’s on our campus! You will have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s day in various ways as you help our school and staff! On a Friday of your choice, you will begin your day at 7:05 as you join your child for class, specials, lunch and recess, as well as serve as a monitor and helper for our school throughout the day. Finally you will help us with afternoon pickup, ending your day around 3:15. Your help is greatly appreciated and it’s a great opportunity to live a day in your child’s shoes! News from the Kendall PTO
- RTG Classroom Sponsor form deadline has been extended they are now due Monday- 9/30. Please consider sponsoring your child’s class. These funds provide RTG t-shirts to every Kendall student.
- · Plan to join us for our first PTO Fall Family Night on Friday, October 4th from 5:30-7:30 pm at KES. Come enjoy pumpkin decorating, face painting, games and a DJ! Tin Can Custard, cotton candy will be for sell. You can PREORDER a pizza only online at kespto.org. Pizza is $10 and must be preordered by Wednesday October 2nd.
