A MESSAGE FROM MR. COLE
Dear Pine Road Families,
As we get rolling in the 2022-2023 school year, it is wonderful to see our students establishing relationships with their new teachers and practicing their new routines. These first days of school have been spent developing positive classroom culture and ensuring that each student is prepared for academic, social, and emotional success as we launch a school year that feels refreshingly normal!
It has been wonderful getting to reconnect with students and families returning to Pine Road, as well as having the opportunity to meet so many new members of our school community. I look forward to a year of many opportunities for continued connection!
Lastly, I want to commend our fantastic students! From the very first day, our students have approached this school year with optimism, dedication, and energy!
Please take this time to review our 22-23 Back to School Letter, as well as our Pine Road Handbook for Students and Families.
I wish everyone an excellent rest of the month and a successful school year ahead.
Sincerely,
Scott Cole
Principal

Cafeteria Reminder
Lunch menus are posted on a new interactive website, Nutrislice. Our innovative and interactive site and mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before! Download the Nutrislice App from the App Store or get it on Google Play and search Lower Moreland.
Friendly reminder that the universal free lunch has ended, however starting October 1st free breakfast will be returning! Students that would like a free breakfast in the morning will walk straight to the cafeteria upon arrival. Students can eat breakfast in the cafeteria and granola bars, muffins, and cereal bars are also available if your student would like to save their breakfast for snack time.
Information on the Free or Reduced Lunch Prices can be found on the nutrition page on our LMTSD website.
Car Line Protocol
- Adults should not exit vehicles. We have staff that is fully prepared to assist students safely entering and exiting vehicles.
- Unless directed by school staff, please do not pass other cars in the car-line. This can create dangerous situations.
- While waiting on Pine Road to enter the loop, please ensure you are not blocking our side streets. Many of our buses utilize these side streets. Please also pull as far over as safely possible.
- Please have your car-line name tag clearly displayed. If you need a tag, please ask Mr. Radway as he is checking you in, and we can ensure you receive one.
- Please note that the walker line is reserved for families that walk from home to school and back. Please do not park and come to the walker line to pick up students.
