A note from the Principal

Hi Hunt Club Families,

First of all, thank you so much for the donations that we received for Toys for Tots! The donations were overwhelming and so appreciated.

Next week we will begin countdown to Winter Break with a Winter Spirit Week! Please see the flyer below on how your child may participate.

One more reminder, IT'S GETTING COLDER OUTSIDE! Please remember to send your child in weather appropriate clothes, which includes coats, hats, and mittens, as we will be continuing to go outside for recess. Label everything, as items often get dropped or lost and we would like to reconnect each item with it's rightful owner. We will continue to go outside as long as possible and want the kids to be comfortable outside.

Important upcoming dates:

December 14th-Home and School Meeting at 7:00 ONLINE

December 13th-December 22nd-Winter Spirit Week

December 23-January 7th: NO SCHOOL-WINTER BREAK

Snow/Emergency Day Packets

Last Friday your child should have come home with Snow/Emergency Day work packets in their take home binder or folder. As we approach the winter season and times of bad weather or emergency the school day will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Teachers will be live in their Google meets from: 9-9:30, 11:30-12 and 1:30-2 to support and answer any questions a child might have. Student attendance is required for a snow/emergency day. The second page of each packet will be collected by the classroom teacher when school reopens. The students only need to bring the page back filled out by the parent. They do not need to bring the whole packet back to school .

Please keep it in a safe place at home. We will be using this as our instructional tool for our snow/emergency days. Please know that all elementary schools are following this same procedure.
