The History of Thanksgiving
How can you help a young child learn about the history of Thanksgiving? You can read any of your own favorite children's books about Thanksgiving, and use them as an opportunity to go beyond the old retellings and discuss with your children what really happened and what the first feast may have been like for the Wampanoag people.
Queen Anne's County Mobile Library Visits the Judy Center for Storytime
Judy Center participants enjoyed a storytime session with Justin Thompson,from the QACL Mobile Library. Everyone left with a fun "make and take" craft to create a halloween mask after the visit in October.
Judy Center Visits Partnering Childcare Providers
Children are learned more about families during visits to partnering childcare providers. Our little friends dressed up like Grandma and Grandpa during this visit.
Ms. Cindy is a QACTV Star As She Spreads Awareness about the Make A Difference Day Event
To help spread awareness to the Spanish speaking community residing in Queen Anne's County, the Make A Difference Day Committee invited Cindy Clark, our very own Early Childhood Liaison at the Judy Center at SES to help develop a commercial in Spanish to air on the local QACTV station. She did a great job! Please join us on 11/4/23 at Sudlersville Middle School for this very special community event.

Judy Center Early Learning Hubs serve families of children (birth through age 5) residing within their school's catchment area. They also serve children, who reside anywhere in Queen Anne's County; if a child has an IEP or an IFSP.
