Blooming Into High School Students!
Trimester three grade books should be open. It will take some time to enter in grades! Please check online this trimester goes very fast and we want to make sure our students continue to do their very best.
Students will be starting a Social Studies Layer Project in class on Monday for Chapter 11. Work will be done in class and also as homework for the next two weeks. The project will be due March 9th and students will take the test for Chapter 11 on March 10th.
Mrs. Kaneshina will be conducting an exciting lab using lemons as batteries next week! She will need lots and lots of lemons because all the students will take part in this very "hands on" activity. If you have lemons to donate, please send them with your student next week. Hopefully we will get to share pictures with you of the lemon experiment in our next newsletter!
Here are some reminders for this last trimester:
1. Grade First Aid will only be available by teacher invitation! Students must have no missing assignments for work/material covered by that quiz/test. Students must have spent time studying in preparation for the quiz/test as evident by work completion, participating in class discussions through raising their hand, etc.
2. Missing work will only be accepted for students who are ABSENT or have documented accommodations. Students need to check online grades EVERY THURSDAY and note absent work. Absent work will only be processed once every two weeks.
