What you need to know about vaping among youth
Inhaling and exhaling the aerosol produced by an electronic vapor device, also known as vaping, carries health risks. Vaping products can include nicotine, chemicals, marijuana or other drugs that can affect students’ learning, attention and self-control. While most youth nationwide are choosing not to vape, we are concerned whenever a student chooses to use these products.
The Campus branch of the iQ Credit Union
The Campus branch of the iQ Credit Union is getting close to opening up! We are shooting for Monday December 4th! The branch is open during both lunches only. We are open most days that hot lunch is served on campus. We open as soon as we can for early lunch, but it will take us a few minutes to be ready and close when lunch ends. For late lunch we are open the first 20 minutes of the late lunch period. Come and see us if you are an iQ member and need to access your account, make deposits or withdrawals,or cash a check.
Not a member? We have a great promotion currently going on. If you are one of the first 120 Clark County High School students attending one of the 7 schools that has a campus branch the credit union will put $50 into your account if you get your application in before we go on winter break. That is December 15th, 2023. Also if you open an account, no matter if you are one of the first 120 or not you will be entered to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. Stop by the Campus Branch, located in the main hallway across from the counseling center.
The BGHS Campus Branch is working with the community in North County to help provide gifts to those in need this Holiday season. You can take an ornament off the tree outside the campus branch and buy a gift for the child listed on it. OR you can just buy a gift and drop them off at the Campus Branch, or Mr. Weeks's classroom B-17. Please bring new unwrapped gifts to the box in the branch. Gifts will be collected until THURSDAY DECEMBER 14th, 2023
Thank you BGHS for your continued support. If you have any questions stop by and see us.
